An AI-assisted music video for “Srdžba” by Novi Sad band Norveška Šuma, the first single announcing their album Porodice, released through SKC Novi Sad.
I developed the video end-to-end: concept, direction, visual development, shot design, AI generation, editing, compositing, and final delivery.
The production combined Sora, Runway, Midjourney, ChatGPT, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, and After Effects, with Runway and Sora used as the primary video-generation models. Different tools were selected shot by shot according to their strengths in movement, atmosphere, composition, continuity, and visual treatment.
Unlike my historical reconstruction work, this project was driven by the band’s original music and lyrics, allowing the visuals to operate more freely through mood, symbolism, rhythm, and associative imagery rather than literal narrative.
The main challenge was creating a coherent visual language across generative shots while maintaining deliberate cinematography, pacing, and continuity. Each sequence was developed in relation to the structure of the song, with generated footage repeatedly refined for movement, framing, lighting, texture, emotional tone, and its relationship to the music.
The project explores AI filmmaking as a directorial medium rather than a single-tool effect, combining generative models with traditional editing and post-production to turn an original musical composition into a complete audiovisual work.
