Overview

MassWine Company was a notable distributor of premium Italian wines in Serbia, playing a pivotal role in introducing a diverse range of high-quality wines to the Serbian market. Specializing in a curated selection of Italian vintages, MassWine established itself as a trusted source for wine enthusiasts and connoisseurs across the country, seeking to experience the rich wine culture Italy is renowned for. Despite its significant impact on the wine distribution landscape in Serbia, MassWine Company has since ceased operations. Its legacy, however, continues to influence the appreciation and consumption of Italian wines in Serbia, reflecting a lasting impact on the local wine community.

The MassWine logo and catalogue

MassWine distributed premium Italian wines in Serbia, and in 2011 I worked on its brand. The logo pairs a vine leaf and grapes with the name in script, with the line Taste the Prestige beneath it. On the catalogue it is embossed in gold on black.

Inside the wine catalogue

Inside are pages on Italian wines and on the company. Maps place each region, such as Piemonte, and every wine gets its grapes, colour, aroma and taste beside a photo of the bottle.

The Fratelli Rossini wine brand

Fratelli Rossini was designed from the bottom up. Its crest sets a knight on horseback in a winged shield under a crown, with the motto Essenza degli Dei. The brochure prints it in red on aged orange paper, with a wax seal inside.

Bag-in-box packaging

Fratelli Rossini also came in bag-in-box wine: tan boxes for Chardonnay and Sauvignon, a dark red box for Cabernet Sauvignon.

Gift tube, folder and glassware ad

A black gift tube with a vine pattern carries the logo on a red band. A black folder has a wine glass cut out to show the Italian colours. An ad presents the Cantinarredo glasses that MassWine distributed.
